Stop falling!
Some deep part of your training, almost instinct, tells you something isn't right. It shouldn't be possible to fall this far, and you know for a fact nothing impossible ever happens to you.
It can only be one thing. Error!
You draw your blade, which blazes bright blue. That's a sure sign that there's an Error nearby.
Something shifts. The walls of the canyon are still blurring past you, but you no longer feel any sensation of falling. In fact, you now feel firm ground under your feet.
In the mirror your reflection grins wickedly at you. You don't feel like smiling back.
