Sell your kidneys to buy cybernetic eyes!
You visit a back-alley Cyberdoc who doesn't ask too many questions and is more than happy to swap a couple stock organs for some aftermarket eyes. A short outpatient procedure later you're back on the street, seeing things in a new light. Were your eyes always this bad? Low resolution and lower dynamic range? Whatever, it's fine.
It's not fine, though. It's not long before you start feeling awful. Achy, sweating, tired, you even threw up. Was it something you ate? Hang on, what is it kidneys do again? You thought it was something to do with alcohol, which is fine because you don't drink. Or was that your liver? You better think of something, fast.
