Nobile Beest
When a cat sits in a loaf but stretches their front legs as far forward as possible, that is called the Nobile Beest. There is no good explanation for this name. It's just what it's called. Sorry.
Note that the Nobile Beest is not the same as the "sphinx pose" where a cat loafs with chest out and front legs forward. The Nobile Beest requires stretching those front feets as far as possible.
