Thinking quickly, you pull out your "instant door" kit from Acme. It's a loose doorknob. You jam it into the floor beneath you and twist, causing the floor to swing down like a trapdoor. The Pikachu stare down at you in shock for a moment, then the trapdoor slams shut on them before any can think to jump after you.

You find yourself lying on a shimmering rainbow floating in a shimmering sea of stars. It pulses in beat to a jaunty little tune playing just within the edges of your hearing. You get up and look around. The stars around you are unlike any night sky you've ever seen. Many of the stars are unusually big and bright. The biggest and brightest stars have two little dark spots that you'd swear are eyes. They seem to be looking at you.

One of them winks. This is admittedly a little surreal, but no weirder than anything else that's happened today, right?

You decide to walk along "star road" for a while. You hear the sound of a gasoline motor approaching, so you move to the edge and watch a mustachioed plumber in a go-cart zoom past, with another go-kart piled high with what looks like a cross between a dragon, a turtle, and a meat tenderizer.

As he speeds away you see the plumber strategically drop a banana peel behind him, which causes the spiky dragon turtle to fall off the edge. A bespectacled turtle riding a cloud flies down and casts a line from his fishing pole. He reels up the monster and places him back on the road.

The dragon-turtle speeds away, then the rainbow road is as silent as before.

Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. You gotta get out of here. Too bad you don't have one of those go-karts, they actually look pretty fun.
